CABPES Presentation

As President of the Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists, I have the privelege of helping to shape the lives of our young people.

Many of today's youth believe that careers in the entertainment and sports industry are the only worthwhile paths to success.  But, at CABPES we want them to know that careers in science, math and engineering can also offer personal fulfillment and professional opportunities.

By providing constructive academic projects and challenging our young people we contribute to their future success.

As engineering professionals and scientists, we must continue to keep pace with rapidly advancing technology.  Students must continually strive to achieve excellence.  Parents must prepare them to meet the demands of an ever-changing technological and academic landscape.

It is my hope that together we can shape a better future for us all!

Sincerely,
Dewey F. Brigham, Jr.
