The Parental Action Committee for Education (PACE) was formed in 2004 and encourages and promotes student and parent participation while working with CABPES in a supportive capacity.

The mission of PACE is to integrate the talents and resources of parents, community groups and area schools, to strengthen the readiness of historically underrepresented minority students (African-American, Hispanic and Native American) to pursue science, engineering, mathematics and technical fields.

PACE operates much like the public schools’ Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). In the past, PACE has organized special events for CABPES and assisted on class nights with the students. They have also helped with mailings and assisted with planning the Annual Awards Banquet.
