Have fun with CABPES this summer!

Become a Summer Math Bootcamp super star!

Keep those math skills sharp with Summer Math Quest Challenge which prevents summer slide and winners earn prizes.

Join our Books and Beyond Book Club to experience the adventure of reading books and group discussion.

Summer programs will run June 6-August 5.

The CABPES Summer Math Boot Camp is a 4-week program designed to help students in grades 5-12 gain self-confidence and expand their mathematical skills which as essential to be successful in the upcoming school year and will develop well-rounded skills for a successful professional career in the future.

Summer Math Boot Camp Class Dates:

June 13- July 14

All meetings will take place at the Community College of Denver, Lowry Campus at 1070 Alton Way Denver 80230.

9am – Noon

July 14 will be a special field trip day for Summer Math Bootcamp students to Lincoln Hills

Registration deadline is June 7 end of day.

Students in the CABPES Books and Beyond Book Club will experience the adventure of reading books and the depth of moderator-lead of group discussions. Each book club will meet in- person every other week and students will be assigned specific chapters to read on their own between each meeting. Book clubs will be moderated by a CABPES volunteer, CABPES will provide the books to each Books and Beyond participant. Book clubs kick off the week of June 6. Specific book club meeting dates and times will be determined by the moderator and the participants.

Registration deadline is June 3 end of day.

During the Summer Math Quest Challenge, students will work in the IXL math app individually and from the comfort of their own homes. Rewards will be given out for first, second and third place for the most problems completed. All participants will earn two tickets to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
